Cabinetry is arriving and installation has begun! In the planning stages, many in the community shared their needs with the designers and building committee – more room for teens, study rooms, meeting room space, etc. The “feel” of the library was often mentioned too – the community wanted to keep the warmth that wood tones bring into a space often admired in the historical building.
We heard you! Here is a first look at one of the cabinet installations. (Don’t worry – the cabinet facing will be protected from paint and the remaining construction details.) The cabinet pictured is just to the left of the Gallery Art Wall which leads into the youth department. We hope you like it!
