What is a study room? Pictured here are one of the four study rooms located in the new library. (This one is located on the west side of the building facing Fourth Street.) Three will hold 2-4 people while the third is slighty larger accomodating 2-6 people. Each room will have a whiteboard, comfortable chairs, and table along with plenty of outlets for devices.
Study rooms offer a space free of distraction – fostering an environnent for focusing, productivity, and creativity.
Currently, there are two study rooms at the temporary location averaging 100 bookings a month! Let’s count the ways to use a study room – studying, job interviews, tele-health appointments, remote work, learning, tutoring, proctoring – we’re sure there are more!
